'GR8-The Next Generation’ brings together a new wave of emerging contemporary Malaysian artists and their take on the world today.Curated by prominent Malaysian printmaker Izan Tahir, this year long project has resulted in an exhilarating exhibition that brings together works of various disciplines ranging from painting to 3-D installations.

The seven artists have been short-listed from a widespread search of artists from around the country and have been selected based on their commitment and dedication to their art practice.Most importantly they demonstrate great potential for a long lasting art career and future ahead.

The seven selected artists who will feature in ‘GR8-The Next Generation’ are Azharudin Mappon, Cheong Tuck Wai, Faizal Suhif, Linda Nordin, Rozana Musa, Shahrul Jamili and Yim Yen Sum.
